Cooperative Limited. The cooperative was established in 2014 and legally registered
with the Department of Trade and Industry’s Companies and Intellectual Property Comission(CIPC).
Preparations to kick-start a three year artistic programme are underway and the board
members of MTD are excited and looking forward to its implementation. From 2016 to
2017, the cooperative will oversee the implementation of a Sewing and Fashion Design
programme aimed at the training of at least five individuals, the production of various
traditional products, a photo shoot, creation of a catalogue and fashion exhibtions.
The cooperative aims to utilize the skills of the five trained individuals to create
a local fashion industry which seeks to introduce traditional clothing into the mainstream
economy -TŠA MASA CORRESPONDENT.
With the recent announcement by the National Arts Council of South Africa (NAC)on
the 31 May 2016 came the wonderful news that Molepo Traditional Dance is one of the
few cooperatives which will be funded over a three year

of the greatest things to happen to Dinaka practitioners
A special meeting sat on the 27 May 2017, 11:00am at 458 Mankgaile village, Ga Molepo,
Polokwane, Limpopo province.
The first of the three years artistic programme(2016-2019) funded by NAC now underway.
The name of the artistic programme, funded by the National Arts Council of South
Africa, is Tau tša hloka seboka di šitwa ke nare e hlotša.
A new board has been elected with additional six members taking up roles in new positions.
